After working in the industry for almost a decade, I decided it was time to branch off on my own. I chose the River Heights area where a lot of my clients were from. I decided to call my salon Jody's so I would be easy to find. After less than a year in the industry, I personally was no longer taking new clientele. That is when I started to hire more estheticians to grow the salon to the size it is today. In 2001 we purchased a great building in the river heights area where we are currently located at 1217 Lorette Ave. We've been around so long because of our commitment to the high industry standard we hold ourselves to. We've made our name a synonym in the industry for excellence.

I would like to thank my mentor David Fox for showing me the way in the industry. He taught me how important customer service is and how to grow a committed and strong clientele. Another thank-you to Cathy Lacey who always went above and beyond for the staff she looked out for. Without the guidance of them I would not be where I am today!

Here at 1217 Lorette, proprietor Mark Braun joins proprietor Jody Carlson, and together the two businesses thrive under one roof.
